Can my child have a second year of funded kindergarten?

The Department of Education and Training provides funding to support children to attend kindergarten in the year before they start school. Access to a second year of funded kindergarten is not common, but may be possible for some eligible children in the 4-year-old program who have two or more areas of developmental delay.

My child is not immunised, can they still attend your program?

The Victorian Government has introduced ‘No Jab, No Play’ legislation into Parliament. This commenced on 1st January, 2016. All children are required to be fully vaccinated for their age in order to be enrolled in childcare and/or kindergarten in Victoria.

Are there any restrictions on the food my child can bring to kinder?

We promote a healthy eating program for all children and staff members. Children should bring nutritious foods and we ask that families minimise the inclusion of processed foods and packaging. We are a Sun Smart Centre. Sunhats are mandatory for outside play when the UV rating is 3 and above. Sunscreen is available at kinder should you forget to apply sunscreen at home prior to the kinder session.
